Cassandra’s sculptures explore how memory is the thread that guides us through the labyrinth of identity. Her recent one woman show, SOULJA, bore witness to an astounding personal galaxy. In addition, she has also shown at the East/West Gallery in London, the Chopo Museum in Mexico City, the Leslie Lohman Gallery in New York and smack dab in the middle of nowhere. Cassandra studied at the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Printmaking in Mexico City. She is currently the Sculptor in Residence at BAAD!
